It is fitting that Wallace Stegner once observed, "some are born in their place, some find it, and some realize after long searching that the place they left is the one they have been searching for."
Personally, I feel a sense of homecoming as I rejoin the faculty of the S.J. Quinney College of Law, University of Utah. As a research professor in the Law and Policy program of the Wallace Stegner Center, I'll be focusing on climate change, public lands, permitting, biodiversity, and the voluntary carbon market.
